The  Brave Little Rabbit   The Brave Little Rabbit Author: Lily Greenwood Once upon a time, in a big green forest, there lived a little rabbit named Ruby. Ruby was small, but she was very curious and brave. She loved to explore the forest and make new friends. One day, Ruby met a sad turtle named Tim. "Why are you sad?" asked Ruby. "I'm slow," said Tim. "I can't play with the other animals." Ruby smiled and said, "You don’t need to be fast to be special." Then, they heard a loud cry. It was a baby bird stuck in a bush. Ruby wanted to help, but the bush had many thorns. Tim said, "I will go slowly and carefully." Tim moved slowly and helped the bird out. The baby bird was safe! But a few minutes later, a man with a mask and a gun came inside by force and shouted for her to give him the money. It was an armed robbery. Marta was scared, but she bravely pressed the emergency button without the robber noticing. The police came quickly and arrested the man, who did not answer when they asked if he had a gun or illegal drugs. Later, he said he did it because he did not have a job and needed money for his children. The officer said that the man stole because he needed money for his children, didn’t he? After the investigation, the judge decided that his punishment would be house arrest for six months and a fine. The judge also warned him that if he does something like this again, he could get life in prison. Marta, who called the police, said that she just wants to live in a safe place. --- With this example, we can see tha...

We live in a world with a lot of information. News, videos, comments, posts… everything comes to our phones in seconds! But not everything we see is true, right? Many times, the media use strategies to manipulate us. For example, some news shows images that are very shocking just to get attention. They also use emotional words or only show one side of the story. This gives us only one perspective. A friend told me she read a news article that blamed a group without proof. This is dangerous. Information that is not clear can create hate or even persecution. So, what can we do?  We can develop media literacy. This means we learn to understand, think and ask questions about what we see online. A person who thinks before sharing is more responsible. It is important to ask: What words do they use? What is the goal of this message? Who wrote this? My teacher said we must check information before we share it.This helps us avoid lies and injustice. The world is better when people think with...
